Time for a Throwback

Five years ago today A.P.T made the transition from training individuals in the local park, rugby club and my garage to opening our 1st gym.

As you can see from the photo, we had 1000sqft of open space with virtually no equipment except a pull up bar, portable squat stands, an Olympic bar with about 50kgs of bumper plates, some homemade sandbags, homemade sled ( which we still use ), a couple of kettlebells and a single plyo box.

I will never forget those humble beginnings and I have fond memories of that gym.
In there we set 2 World Records, raised over a thousand pounds in charity events, trained a Paralympic gold medallist, World Masters sprinter and long jumper, European Champion powerlifter, Commonwealth , British and Team GB masters Judo champion, Professional Premiership rugby players, England netballer, rugby teams, athletics teams, hundreds of people that all progressed towards achieving their goals.

Now we are in a bigger, better 2400sqft facility with a separate PT studio, sports therapy room, office/meeting room and lots more equipment.
We now run 23 group training sessions every week with a fantastic community of regular members. We have a team of coaches, Team Leaders, business and coaching mentors.
We still coach elite athletes but that is no longer our main focus, every one of our members is trained as an athlete.

I was 44 when I started this business so it is never too late to follow the path to your dream career and lifestyle.

What will the next 5 years bring?

Why not join our journey and find out for yourself.
